My name is Kirsten, I am the owner and photography of Emerald Orchids Photography. My business began in 2016 (can you believe it's almost been a decade) and over the years I've had the chance to refine my style to bring out beautiful, timeless images you'll cherish for years. A little bit about me...
When I am not behind the camera I am living that #MomLife ... hanging out with my husband Cory, our beautiful children, and our two golden retrievers, Hank and Hazel. You'll find us out on walks, having a dance party at home, or catching up on trash reality tv once the kids go to sleep.

What to expect at a session
Planning to do photos can bring out a lot of nerves and uncertainty, especially if you've never had professional photos taken before! Rest assured, it is my job to help guide you through each step of the process and answer any questions you have a long the way.
Booking
It's never too early to book a date or even request to be put on a waitlist for a specific season (whether you are seeking spring time blooms or fall colours). My dates typically book up at least 4-6 weeks in advance.

Planning
After you have reserved a spot we can work together to plan your photos, everything from location to outfits. If you have specific desires I will try my absolutely best to find that perfect spot, just for you.
Day of Your Session
I kindly ask you and your party to show up on time at our agreed location. Depending on the type of session and number of people in your party, you can expect it to last anywhere form 30 - 60 mins.
My photos include a combination of posed and candid images, and during the posed portion I will help with step by step instructions so you know exactly what to do. Your session is meant to be fun and relaxed and I can't wait to hangout with you!
After Your Session
After all the laughing, smiles, and fun, I will start working on your images right away! Galleries will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session. Your gallery will be shared as an online link that is user friendly so you can download directly to your phone or computer, and share with all of your friends & family. At this time, I do not offer printing services.
Pro-Tip: Download your entire gallery onto a USB or external hard drive for safe keeping (and because the files will be HUGE! and take up lots of computer/phone space).
